FairWind will implement leadership changes in its Southern Europe and South America region from 1 January 2026. Since acquiring regional onshore wind installation company Wind1000 in 2024, the SESA business has been led by Wind1000 co-founders Jesύs Garcia Mallo, Diego Garrido Cousillas, and Carlos Louzao Aris.
Following the integration of Wind1000, the three co-founders will transition into consultancy roles.
The Southern European countries, together with South Africa, will form a new Mediterranean region under Aitor Diaz de Lezana Fernández. Aitor joined FairWind in September 2024 as Regional Head of Service for SESA, having previously held senior service leadership positions at Siemens Gamesa and Nordex in Latin America.
FairWind’s North America region will be expanded to include South American countries, forming the Americas region. Armando Barradas, North America Regional Director since 2023, will continue to lead the enlarged region. His prior experience includes heading Siemens Gamesa’s Latin American operations.
