Global Wind Organisation, the non-profit body representing wind power owners and manufacturers, has announced the election of a new Board of Directors, following its Annual General Meeting (AGM). The GWO Board of Directors is elected by the General Assembly for a term of two years.
The Board appointed John Barrie, Global Head of Training at Vestas as Chair, supported by Eloy Jauregui, Director of Safety at ACCIONA Energia as Vice-Chair. The full GWO Board of Directors for the period 2023-2024 consists of the following members:
