The first Siemens Gamesa SG 14-236 offshore wind turbine has been installed at Ørsted’s Greater Changhua 2b and 4 wind farms in Taiwan, marking its global debut.
The SG 14-236 turbine features a capacity of 14 MW, a rotor diameter of 236 metres, and a swept area of 43,500 square metres.
