Natural Power has provided advisory support in the sale by OnPath Energy of a 73 MW portfolio of seven operational onshore wind farms across England. OnPath Energy, owned by Brookfield Asset Management, appointed Natural Power to deliver technical vendor due diligence services in support of the transaction.
The portfolio has been acquired by ERG, supporting the Italian renewable energy group’s expansion in the UK. Natural Power delivered a multidisciplinary technical vendor due diligence scope across the seven assets, including reviews of asset performance, technical risks, contracts, grid connections, land agreements, planning and environmental compliance, and an assessment of life-extension potential.
Following completion of the sale, Natural Power will continue to support OnPath Energy as site operator through integrated asset and performance management services.
