Vestas has received a 128 MW order for 24 V90-3.0MW and 31 V90-1.8MW turbines from Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) for the Solano 3 project near Rio Vista, California, USA.

Siemens Energy has been awarded a contract to deliver 80 wind turbines of the SWT-3.6-120 type for the DanTysk offshore wind power plant located in the North Sea. The customer is the DanTysk Offshore Wind GmbH in which Vattenfall Europe and the Stadtwerke München have a 51- and 49-per cent stake respectively.
